Module 1
In this module, we explore how Impact Investors express their worldview and articulate how they plan for system change via a Theory of Change (ToC). Moreover, we explore the roots of the logic model and its importance in impact investing. We discuss the intricacies of ToC design and interpretation, and how it informs investment decision-making. We delve into the golden thread that runs between the logic of the ToC and the formation of your investment thesis, and onward into how to weave it into your investment strategy. You will learn how to extract and build on the essential information it provides, whether its for constructing/improving your own ToC or interpreting one you receive from a potential investee.
