Jean-Baptiste de Franssu is the President of the Board of l'Istituto per le Opere di Religione (IOR) or the Vatican bank since July 2014. Along with the board and the executive team he has led the bank through a complete transformation of its structure and its operation including the introduction of a faith consistent investment process for all its asset management activities.He is vice-chairman of Groupe La Française S.A, an asset management company that manages Euro 150 bn, chair its audit and risk committee and is a member of its HR and remuneration committee. He also sit on the board of some leading european family offices in Belgium and Italy.Jean-Baptiste sits on the board of the French press group, groupe Bayard.He is also a member of the board of the foundation of the French catholic TV KTO. In 2023 he became the chair of the board of the ITI ,the International Theological Institute and Catholic university of Austria. In 2024 he was named chair of the board of the Collège des Bernardin, the most prestigious catholic faculty and cultural center in France.Up to the end of 2011 he was Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Europe and a member of Invesco’s worldwide executive committee. Prior to Invesco he worked at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in France where he started his career.In June 2009 he was elected President of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) during a time of profound worldwide regulatory changes following the 2008 financial crisis. In 2009 he was elected European fund industry personality of the year by Funds Europe magazine. He has, over the years, contributed articles and advice to many publications, industry working groups and seminars on issues relating to regulation and supervision of asset management activities.Between 2012 and 2015 he ran an M&A boutique with US partners focusing on the asset management sector.

Karlijn joined Achmea Investment Management (AIM) in January 2025 and is heading their large Impact Team, which includes Impact Advisors and a group of Impact Portfolio managers supporting clients with their Impact Road Map.Prior to joining Achmea Investment Management, Karlijn was the global head of the REO, the Engagement and Voting service at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. She was driving Responsible Engagement Overlay business globally and worked closely with the engagement and voting team in London. Before that she spent nearly a decade at MN Asset Management where she was Director Responsible Investment and member of the Management Team Fiduciary Advice. In this role, she was heading the Responsible Investment team and was responsible for ESG integration, impact investing active ownership and exclusions. Prior to working in the financial industry Karlijn worked over 10 years as a sustainability professional: working as an ESG Consultant, academic at the Center for Sustainability at Nyenrode University and as a Sustainability manager at Trade organisation MVO where she founded and chaired the Dutch Taskforce on Sustainable Palm Oil. Karlijn was a member of the PRI Steering Committee Water and the PRI Investor Working Group on Palm Oil. Karlijn was an IIGCC board member and founding member of the Platform Living Wage Financials. Karlijn holds a MSc in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

He also leads PGGM’s engagement efforts around water risk.Before joining PGGM Investments in July 2011, Piet was at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC and held senior positions at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the private sector. As a water resources expert, he worked at the World Bank and United Nations. Piet holds master’s degrees in Water Resources Management (Wageningen University, 1989) and Applied Environmental Economics (University of London, 1999).

Sophie holds vast experience in the field of impact and sustainability in various functions and sectors. Having gained experience with regard to the implementation of the sustainability strategy of a large German insurance company early on in her career, she soon took the decision to dedicate her professional career to “doing good”. As a consultant at one of Germany’s leading players in international development cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), Sophie subsequently advised political decision-makers around the globe on a wide range of issues related to the sustainability transformation in the energy, building and mobility sectors. Since fall 2020, she has been in charge of the Impact and Sustainable Finance division of NEXT Generation Invest – a specialized asset manager focused solely on impact investing in real assets. Since early 2022, she holds the position of Chief Impact and Sustainability Officer. In 2021, Sophie has taken over the co-lead of the then newly founded working group "Real Estate" of the federal initiative on impact investing (Bundesinitiative Impact Investing). Since 2022, she is also member of the board of the initiative. Before that, Ms. Bhatia served since 2014 as the Director for Development Partner Relations at the World Bank Group. Previously, she held the position of Director of Partnerships and Advisory Services Operations (2011–2014) and Global Head of Knowledge at the International Finance Corporation (2010-2011).
Ms. Bhatia also served as Head of IFC’s Latin America Advisory Operations. In addition to Latin America, she has worked in Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and South and East Asia. Ms. Anita Bhatia brings extensive experience in the area of strategic partnerships, resource mobilization, and management. During her time at the IFC, she developed and expanded innovative partnerships with public and private sector partners to support its strategy in key areas, including fragile and conflict-affected states, gender equality, financial inclusion, support to women-owned businesses, and other priorities critical for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ms. Bhatia holds a BA in History from Calcutta University, an MA in Political Science from Yale University, and a Juris Doctor in Law from Georgetown University.

Dr Scilla Elworthy turns vision into action. Today her full attention is on developing Business Plan for Peace, resulting from her 2017 book: The Business Plan for Peace: Building a World Without War. She has been three times nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for developing effective dialogue between nuclear weapons policymakers worldwide and their critics, with the Oxford Research Group she founded in 1982. Peace Direct, voted ‘Best New Charity’ in 2005, goes from strength to strength under brilliant young leadership, founded by Scilla in 2002 to fund, promote and learn from local peace-builders in conflict areas. Scilla was adviser to Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Sir Richard Branson in setting up ‘The Elders’, and was Awarded the Niwano Peace Prize in 2003. She co-founded Rising Women Rising World in 2013, and FemmeQ in 2016 to establish the qualities of feminine intelligence - for men as for women - as essential for building a safer world. Eva Halvarsson has had a distinguished and varied leadership career. She took part in the working group that put into effect the Swedish Corporate Governance Code in 2004. She also spent several years, serving on the Swedish Corporate Governance Board. Eva has been a board member of several large companies and has chaired the nomination committees of some of Sweden’s largest listed companies. She recently left after serving for ten years as the Deputy Chairperson of the board of the University of Gothenburg.Presently, she is board member of the UN-PRI (the United Nation´s Principles for Responsible Investments), Vasakronan (the largest real estate company in Sweden), The Gothenburg Award for Sustainable Development and The Royal Swedish Opera. He served in a similar capacity as the Director of Finance and Treasury at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Rome (2010-2012).With over 10 years of experience in high level management positions in the United Nations system, together with more than 17 years of experience in the private and public sectors, Mr. Guazo brings a balance of deep knowledge of the United Nations system and expertise in national, regional and global practices for financial and pension fund systems.During a 15-year banking career, he contributed to the modernization of the Mexican Financial System, while serving as its regulator and supervisor. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer at the Federal Mortgage Bank of Mexico (2008-2010), he negotiated and managed loans from the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank.
